ADESA acquired Zabel and Associates and it's two auction holdings Tri-State Auto Auction - Fargo and Sioux Falls Auto Auction in October 2007. The whole-car auctions are now known as ADESA Fargo and ADESA Sioux Falls while the salvage portion of the operations is now names Insurance Auto Auction of Fargo and Sioux Falls, respectively (Insurance Auto Auction is a sister company of ADESA).

A former subsidiary DSI Automotive Products, is still owned by the former partners of the Z&A Group.
